Dear Friends, Thank you for subscribing to The Spark.
My name is Casey Hersch. I am a licensed clinical social worker and founder of LightYourSparkle.Life. As many of you know, I live with autoimmune illnesses and have a history of childhood trauma, which are my inspirations for the Light Your Sparkle community.
This season, I am finding new ways to make my holiday bright. Even though I especially miss seeing your smiling faces as you shop for the perfect gift, sing carols, and rejoice in the holiday spirit, I am finding simple ways to generate my holiday sparkle from within.
During this season of mistletoe and holly
What's the true reason to be thankful and jolly? Is it the decorations, garland, gifts and big tree Or the familiar songs, hymns, carols, and glee Or is it hearing a melodic church choir And feeling the embrace of a warm crackling fire It is all of this, plus cheer and good will Alongside scrumptious treats made with sparkle you can feel.
Finding My Sparkle in the Kitchen
A Versatile Gluten Free Bread
For those of us with food allergies and limited diets, it can be difficult to find an all-purpose bread. My quest for a new kind of holiday experience led me to the perfect recipe!
Yochabel passed away last year and I miss her. Sometimes I feel alone during the holidays when I look around and see everyone's joy. Yochabel left me incredible gifts that continue to light my sparkle. She taught me that no matter what happens, I can always turn to myself and my memories. I am my own bright and shining light---just like all of you. "Even if you can't see it, you better believe it..."
